ARIZONA– As inflation skyrockets, Republicans vote to gut Medicare, and un-elected Billionaire Elon Musk fires federal workers, Arizonans are angry about Arizona Republicans’ inaction. It’s Friday, so here’s a round-up (corral) of what our Arizona Republicans are up to:
- Rep. David Schweikert’s (AZ-01) constituents are asking, “Where does Rep. Schweikert stand on the important issues?” and begging him to do something “where he responds to [constituent] questions.”
- Rep. Eli Crane’s (AZ-02) office faced 50 Payson protesters “holding signs protesting mass federal layoffs, the suspension of thinning projects by the Forest Service and a House-approved budget that […] cuts in programs like Medicaid.”
- Rep. Andy Biggs (AZ-05) is being criticized for staying silent about Trump’s vow to eliminate the CHIPS Act, with people saying, “Biggs should be defending the state he wants to lead.”
- Rep. Juan Ciscomani’s (AZ-06) constituents are asking, “Why is Ciscomani so betraying?” and “[…]why aren’t you supporting and voting for the people who elected you, not billionaires?“
- Rep. Abe Hamadeh (AZ-08) “seems to be out of the loop“ and “exposed himself” when he bragged about “Guantanamo Bay deportations that aren’t happening anymore.”
- Rep. Paul Gosar (AZ-09) used his tax-payer funded newsletter to express distaste about the Arizona Superior Court upholding the will of the voters and overturning the 15-week abortion ban, writing, “Whether abortion is legal or not, it remains immoral. My hope is that abortions are resorted to less and less no matter their legal status.”
