Arizonans recognize Peter Thiel in sheep’s clothing and are ready to reject MAGA billionaires again this November

ARIZONA- Today, J.D. Vance will head to Glendale, marking his first campaign visit since being declared “the worst vice presidential nomination pick since 1972” and only the second visit the Trump campaign has made to the key swing state.
“J.D. Vance is just another MAGA yes-man that will push forward Trump’s extremist Project 2025 agenda,” said Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Yolanda Bejarano. “A Trump-Vance presidency is a win for the billionaire class with more tax cuts, stripping away the right to unionize, and reversing the protections of the Affordable Care Act. Arizonans are ready to reject this extreme anti-worker agenda this November and vote in a slate of Democrats up and down the ballot that are fighting for their abortion rights, investing in public schools, and securing Arizona’s water future.”
J.D Vance can’t cushion his long and detailed record:
- J.D. Vance is an abortion extremist. Vance is in support of a nationwide abortion ban, is on the record comparing abortion to slavery, and thinks the goal of the Republican party should be to eliminate abortion.
- J.D Vance is the architect of Project 2025. Vance wrote the “violent foreword” to the book that is the foundation of project 2025 and has backed some of the policies’ most extreme viewpoints.
- J.D. Vance is anti-worker. Vance has said there are “bad unions” that republicans should work against and introduced legislation that sought to gut landmark labor laws by creating employer-endorsed worker groups that cannot enter into collective bargaining agreements.
- J.D Vance is an election denialist. Vance said he wouldn’t have immediately certified the 2020 election results as VP and has stood by calling the 2020 election “stolen.”
- J.D. Vance is anti-Immigrant. Vance has defended Trump saying undocumented immigrants were “poisoning the blood of this country.”
